Edge Part 92: Embarassment  As I followed Elliot back into the dimly-lit hotel room, my eyes began to sting. I coughed into my hand, not used to the thickness of smoke in such a small room, not to mention the strange way it mixed with the vanilla scent that was already heavy in the air.     Dante rested precariously on the edge of the bed with his elbows resting on his knees. He looked across the room thoughtfully to where my dad still sat. Edge Part 90: Drowning   The attendant wasn't even there when I got to the front of the hotel. I waited there a minute just to see if she came back. I don't know why I did. There was something so draining about the lights in the place and I could hardly stand it. I couldn't imagine why I lingered in the foyer as long as I did, but I finally went outside.     It was freezing. And dark. There were only a few lights in the whole, nearly empty lot. There was one over my head, one on either furthest side of the building, and a single tall pole in the center of the lot. yeah it is. There was this girl one year who thought that I was the one that made salad fingers. roflmao. She was like 10 and my friends little sister and I would quote it all the time and she told everyone I made it XD it was so funny.
